UCC Degree in Midwifery Admissions

The admissions department of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has opened admissions for this year’s UCC  Bsc. Midwifery regular programme. Below are the admission requirements for the UCC Bsc. Midwifery programmes and the application process.

UCC Midwifery Admission Requirements

SSCE/WASSCE Holders:

Applicants with Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Elective Mathematics.

Diploma Holders:

Midwives with a Diploma (GPA of 2.5 or better) may be admitted into level 300. A degree in General Nursing and Diploma in General/Community Health Nursing may be admitted into level 200

Other Professionals with Nursing certificates (SRN) and certificates in Midwifery may be admitted into level 200.

Where to buy UCC Admission Forms

Applicants can obtain the University of Cape Coast – UCC admission forms from the following banks and outlets nationwide;

  • All Ghana Post Offices
  •  University of Cape Coast – Accra Office, Tesano – Accra (Mode of payment-CASH)
  • Cashier’s Office, University of Cape Coast (Mode of payment CASH)
  • All Network Branches of the following banks:
  • GCB Bank
  • ADB Bank
  • GT Bank
  • ARB Apex Bank
  • Republic Bank
  • Consolidated Bank
  • Prudential Bank
  • Zenith Bank

How to apply for the UCC Bsc. Midwifery Programme

Applicants can apply online by visiting: https://apply.ucc.edu.gh and select “CLICK TO APPLY FOR PROGRAMME” and selecting “UNDERGRADUATE ENTRY” under “VERIFY VOUCHER” to proceed.

Deadline for UCC Admission Forms

The deadline for the sale of UCC e-vouchers is 31st August 2024 and the submission of
completed forms are on 7th September 2024.
