How to apply for KNUST top-up admission

Ghanaian applicants

Ghanaian applicants can purchase online application e-vouchers at the following places:

• Ecobank
• GCB
• Consolidated Bank Ghana -CBG

Applicants must ensure that they purchase Distance Learning e-vouchers and NOT regular stream undergraduate/postgraduate e-vouchers to avoid complications.

E-Vouchers may be purchased by bankers draft payable to KNUST Institute of Distance Learning (IDL).

Cost of KNUST admission form

The cost of KNUST admission form for top-up programmes:

• Diploma & Certificate programmes: GH¢150.00
• Top-up undergraduate programmes: GH¢250.00

How to buy KNUST admission form online

You can buy the KNUST application e-voucher on your phone with the following steps:

1. Dial *447*160# on all networks in Ghana
2. Select option 2 for Forms and E-vouchers
3. Select option 2 for KNUST
4. Select programme category:
   • option 1 for Undergraduate IDL or
   • option 2 for IDL Diploma or
   • option 4 for Postgraduate
5. View the cost price of the selected category and select option 1 to continue
6. Enter your firstname and lastname and continue
7. Review transaction details and select option 1 to confirm payment.

Documents required for KNUST online application:

You will require the following documents during your KNUST online application process

• Passport picture soft copy (Dimension 470 by 470 pixels – JPG/JPEG/PNG format, with a light green background)
• A certified true copy of your:
  • WASSCE/SSCE/ ‘A’ Level certificate – Diploma & Certificate applicants only (PDF format)
  • HND/Diploma certificate – Top-up undergraduate applicants only (PDF format)
  • Undergraduate certificate – Postgraduate applicants only (PDF format)
• Copy of your birth certificate (PDF format)
• Scanned copy of recognized National ID (JPG/JPEG/PNG/
