If you are looking to renew your Ghanaian passport online, you will need the following documents/items to do so.

1. First page and bio-data page with picture and information page of your old passport
2. Valid Visa if the applicant has any in Old Passport
3. Last page of the old passport
4. Proof of Profession if changed

Ghana Online Passport Application Form

The Ghana online passport application process can be completed using two major platforms, these are the

2. Passport Application site – https://passport.mfa.gov.gh/

Ghana.gov Online Passport Application Process

• Visit the Ghana.gov portal here –  https://ghana.gov.gh
• click on Passport Office from the available services
• Click on apply and confirm the action by clicking OK on the popup modal
• Click on Sign Up at the right corner of your screen
• Enter the required details in the form fields
• Click on Continue after filling out the form
• A One Time Password (OPT) would be sent to the phone number provided during the registration.
• Enter the OTP and click on Continue
• Click on Apply
• Search for the Passport Office
• Click on Apply again
• You would be redirected to a different page for authorization
• Click on Authorize to enable the application to share your details with the Passport Application portal
• You will be redirected to the passport application platform to either Make Payment or Verify Voucher
• Print out the form and submit it to the passport office close to you

• Visit the official Ghana passport website here – https://passport.mfa.gov.gh/
• Click on New User? Register Here Passport Application Site
• Click on Sign Up to create a new account on Ghana.gov
• Click on Continue after filling out the form
• A One Time Password (OPT) would be sent to the phone number provided during the registration.
• Enter the OTP and click on Continue
• Click on Apply
• Search for the Passport Office
• Click on Apply again
• You would be redirected to a different page for authorization

Ghana Online Passport Application Problems and Solutions

I am unable to locate my passport application form after payment

• Login to your Ghana.gov account
• After the redirection to the passport website, Click on My Applications on the left side of the page
• Click on Uncompleted Applications
• Click on the form to start filling it.
• If you do not find the form there – click on “Payment made – no form issued” to see what you need to do.

I have made Payment for my Ghana online passport application but no form was issued

I cant to Book an Appointment after paying for Ghana online passport application

• Visit https://www.ghana.gov.gh/
• Click on Passport Office
• Click on Apply
• Enter your credentials when the Sign In appears.
• After successfully signing in, you will be redirected to the passport page.
• Click on “My Applications”
• Click on “Uncompleted Applications”
• Click on the form there
• Fill out the various sections of the form
• Sign declaration using the OTP sent to your email or phone.
