TSC Registration Requirements. As an Applicant interested in joining the Kenya Teachers Service Commission (TSC) you are required to meet the TSC application requirement and also submit original copies of the required information about your qualification using the TSC Recruitment Portal.

TSC Number Application Requirements

You will be required to provide the following information for your Teachers Service Commission (TSC) number registration;

• Certified copies of academic and professional certificates
• National identity card
• Bank slip
• One passport-size photo
• KRA pin
• KCSE Certificate
• KCPE Certificate
• GP69 form
• Screenshot of M-Pesa payment
• Certificate of Good Conduct
• Entry and work permit for non-Kenyans

Academic Requirements for TSC Registration

The following are the required qualifications for new teachers applying for the Kenya Teachers Service Commission (TSC) registration;

ECDE TSC Registration Requirements

Certificate

• Minimum of CPE/KCPE plus ECDE Certificate from KNEC.
• Minimum mean grade D+(Plus) at KCSE and ECDE Certificate from KNEC.
• Minimum mean grade D (Plain) at KCSE, KNEC proficiency certificate, ECDE Certificate from KNEC Diploma.

Diploma

• Mean grade C (Plain) at KCSE and ECDE Certificate from KNEC.
• Mean grade C+ (Plus) and above for University Diploma.
• Degree Mean grade C+ (Plus) and above

PTE TSC Registration Requirements

• Minimum grade C Plain in KCSE and above
• PTE Certificate from KNEC
• Mean grade of C- (minus) for visually and hearing impaired persons

Diploma in Education TSC Registration Requirements

• Minimum grade C+( Plus) in KCSE and above and C+ (Plus) in the two subjects specialization
• At least C (Plain) in English
• C (plain) in Mathematics for Science-based courses
• D+( plus) in Mathematics in non-science based courses

Diploma in Education for Visually and hearing impaired Requirements

• Minimum grade C (Plain) in KCSE and above.
• At least C Minus in English
• C- (Minus) in Mathematics for Science based courses
• D (Plain) in Mathematics in non-science based courses

Bachelor of Education TSC Registration Requirements

• Minimum mean grade C+ (plus) and above or it’s equivalent
• C+ (Plus) in two subjects of specialization

Bachelor of Science TSC Registration Requirements

• Minimum grade C+ (Plus) in KCSE and above and C+ (Plus) in the two subjects of specialization
• Post graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)

Bachelor of Arts TSC Registration Requirements

• Minimum grade C+ (Plus) in KCSE and above and C+ (Plus) in the two subjects of specialization
• Post graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)

Payment for TSC teacher Registration

New TSC teachers are required to deposit Ksh 1,060 for registration through Direct Banking or Simple Banking. (KSh 1,000 is a non-refundable registration fee and KSH 60 for Bank Commission Charge to the TSC).

• National Bank of Kenya (Direct Banking to A/C No. 01001000905001 or
• Simple Banking using Pay Bill Business Number 625625 is required for processing your certificate. Ensure you have Bank Deposit Slip before proceeding with the application.
