News: GES Announces Biometric Registration Date, Centers & Schedule

GES Biometric Registration Dates,  Venues and  Schedules announced. The Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service (GES) is pleased to bring to public notice that the biometric registration process, venues and date schedules for newly posted teachers has been released.  The process is scheduled on a region by region basis. Below is a detailed schedule of the start and end date for GES biometric registration.

GES Biometric Registration Starting & Ending Date

  1. Ashanti Region –  Starts on: 22nd March – Ends on: 27th March
  2. Eastern Region – Starts on: 26th March – Ends on: 27th March
  3. Central Region – Starts on: 28th March – Ends on: 30th March
  4. Brong Ahafo Region – Starts on: 28th March – Ends on: 1st April
  5. Greater Accra Region – Starts on: 2nd March – Ends on: 26th March
  6. Northern Region – Starts on: 26nd March – Ends on: 28th March
  7. Upper East Region – Starts on: 26th March – Ends on: 28th March
  8. Upper West Region – Starts on: 30th March – Ends on: 2nd April
  9. Volta Region – Starts on: 22nd March – Ends on: 25th March
  10. Eastern Region – Starts on: 29th March – Ends on: 2nd April

GES Biometric Registration Centers

All GES Biometric Registration Process will be carried out at the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) hall of all regions respectively on the specified dates with the exception of the Greater Accra Region which will be carried out at the Ministry of Finance Headoffice.

Required Documents For GES Biometric Registration

  • Appointment letter
  • Employment Form (From the office)
  • Biometric SSNIT ID card or number
  • Birth Certificate/Baptismal card
  • Bank Account details

Note: All Covid-19 protocols will strictly be observed at all registration venues.
