KNUST Mastercard Foundation Scholarship 2023. The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program envisions a transformative network of young people and institutions driving inclusive and equitable socio-economic change in Africa. Since launching in 2012, the Program has supported nearly 40,000 young people in Africa to pursue secondary or tertiary education. In this post, we will explore how a KNUST student can apply for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship 2023 and the requirements.
Eligibility for the KNUST Mastercard Foundation Scholarship
To be eligible for consideration for the KNUST Mastercard Foundation Scholarship, you must satisfy the following conditions
- You must have in their possession, a genuine and valid WASSCE or GBCE or ABCE or GCE O Level
- Also have; A Level or their equivalent results from an accredited/recognized institutions.
- Your results must not be more than five years old
- NO AWAITING RESULTS candidate will be processed for the scholarship.
- You must further meet KNUST’s Admission Requirements
- Demonstrate that you are in Critical Economic Needs.
- You must have Proven Records of Leadership and Community Engagements).
- Priority shall be given to; Females ,Displaced Persons (Certified Refugees, Internally Displaced Persons, and the like) and Persons living with Disability
- You must be prepared to Go-Back and Give-Back to his or her Community.
- You must NOT be enrolled in any tertiary institution.

International Applicants Should Note
When submitting your scholarship application form to the Secretariat, submit these additional documents
- The printout of your application for admission at KNUST (if available)
- Original Certificates for Senior High School results (such as WASSCE or GBCE or ABCE or GCE ‘Level and A’Level or their equivalent Results)

- DESIST from calling the Scholars Program at KNUST Secretariat and Program staff to inquire of the status of their application
- The Secretariat would inform and contact you as and when necessary
- You must apply to KNUST for undergraduate admission in order to be considered for the scholarship
- Award of the Scholarship will be published on the Program’s website
