How to Check INEC Voter Status

You can check your voter status using the INEC voter verification service portal using the steps below

1. Explore https://cvr.inecnigeria.org/vvs
2. Choose the State of Registration
3. Choose Local Government
4. Input your First name and Last name
5. Enter your Date of Birth
6. Check Security capture
7. Click on the Check Status button

How to Check INEC Voter Status using VIN

• Access the INEC verification portal via https://cvr.inecnigeria.org/vvs
• Click on check status using VIN
• Enter your state of registration, Local government registration, and last name
• Enter your Voter Identification Number (VIN)
• Click on the check status button
• Wait for the status of your card to be displayed

 Voting Procedures for INEC General Election

1. Voting Starts at 8:30 am and ends at 2:30 pm
2. Present your INEC-issued PVC for verification using BVAS on arrival
3. Check and verify your name is available on the register of voters in your Polling Unit
4. Get authenticated with the BVAS through finger-print or facials
5. Once accredited you will be issued a ballot paper
6. Go to the voting cubicle to make your choice in secret and drop the marked ballot paper in the ballot box
7. You can leave or stay 300 meters away from the voting area to witness vote sorting and counting

The Nigerian presidential election for 2023 is scheduled to occur on the  25th of February 2023. Voting shall begin at 8:30 am and end at 2:30 pm.
